STOOPS’ Peyton Turner was recognized by the Indiana Motor Truck Association

Peyton Turner

Recently, Peyton Turner was recognized by the Indiana Motor Truck Association (IMTA) after his teammates submitted an essay on his behalf for the “What is So Special About Your Diesel Tech?” contest. Below is the submission the Stoops-Indianapolis team submitted on behalf of Turner.

Peyton Turner
Peyton Turner has been employed with Stoops Freightliner Indianapolis (truck service) since 12/16/19, and has undergone training through our Stoops Training Academy as part of the TTP program. During his tenure here, Peyton has learned a great deal and grown as a technician specializing in transmissions, clutches, PTOs, and electrical systems. Peyton is a determined problem solver who explores all resources at his disposal to identify the root cause of failure and create a repair plan to return vehicles to service as quickly as possible. He has become a technician we turn to for resolution on difficult electrical diagnostics as he learns quickly how to streamline the diagnostic process to improve repair efficiency. Recently, Peyton took first place in our Top Tech written competition in the written exam for the Professional group, and fifth overall among Stoops locations in the Indiana-Ohio region. We look forward to Peyton’s continued growth on the Stoops Indy truck service team.
