The Warehouse Driver Associate will be responsible for both warehouse and delivery services including, but not limited to, picking, packing, loading products, and delivering products to customers while adhering to safety protocols.

Shift: 2-10:30p 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):

  • Pull parts from assigned warehouse locations and place in “will call” area or prepares for shipping.
  • Deliver parts and documentation to service department personnel or place in the “will call” holding area.
  • Deliver truck parts to customers after verifying the list of parts pulled against the invoice.
  • Locate parts for inventory stocking in correct warehouse locations or assign new locations when required.
  • Assist customers by retrieving parts from “will call” and moving them to the customer’s vehicle.
  • Utilize the business system to process inquiries to access product part number information and assign or change warehouse locations.
  • Obtain signature from customer for parts delivered on charged invoices.
  • Collect money for cash invoices and turn into Parts Dept.
  • Pick up parts needed from vendors and verify that the parts match the packing slip.
  • Receive and write up all returns (cores, new parts, warranty parts) that customers have on the return credit memo and take to shipping/receiving for processing.
  • Perform a daily check of delivery vehicle (fluids, lights, tires) before leaving for delivery route.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues for repair.
  • Completely unload delivery vehicle before leaving for the day.
  • Maintain fuel log and turn in all fuel receipts.
  • Obey the posted speed limits and laws when delivering parts.
  • Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized.
  • Fuel up vehicle daily.
  • Observe safety and security procedures.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities. Contribute to building and maintaining a positive team spirit.
  • Project a positive and helpful attitude towards customers at all times.
  • Help clean department as needed and directed.
  • Identify ways to improve processes and quality. Make suggestions for improving work.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Maintain regular on-site attendance.

Work Environment:

  • Occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs., and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear, stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Able to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, or organization.
  • Able to adjust to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
