The Service Foreman coordinates the daily workflow of vehicles through the shop, ensures that qualified technicians perform repairs correctly and efficiently and that the service department maintains a consistently high level of customer satisfaction by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assign priority to each vehicle repair order and select the appropriate technician

· Oversee shop workflow

· Arrange contract repairs when work cannot be performed internally

· Inspect completed work and documentation

· Provide training and mentoring to new employees

· Monitor workspace and employees for Safety compliance

· Communicate with customers

Education, Skills and Knowledge Required:

· Valid driver’s license, Class A CDL, preferred

· One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Knowledge of Project Management software and Microsoft Outlook

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Attention to detail
