As a Shop Foreman at Truck Country, you’ll be at the helm of the day-to-day operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly in the shop or service center.

Shift: 5:30a-3:00p

Responsibilities:

  • Assigning Priority: You’ll need to prioritize vehicle Repair Orders and assign them to the appropriate Technicians.
  • Workflow Management: Overseeing the flow of work in the shop to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
  • Contract Repairs: Organizing external repairs when necessary, ensuring work is completed to standard.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting completed work and associated documentation for accuracy and quality.
  • Training and Mentoring: Providing guidance and support to new team members.
  • Safety Compliance: Monitoring the workspace and staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Customer Communication: Keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles and addressing any concerns.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience in Truck Service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Proceed or other Heavy-Duty Truck DMS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities and a professional demeanor.
  • An AA degree, technical school degree, or 4 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Repair Order Processing.
