Marketing Specialist

The McCoy Group has an opening for a full-time Marketing Specialist at our Stoops Freightliner dealership in Indianapolis, IN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):

• Create or assist in the creation of designs for print, email marketing, apparel, web, and video to sell Stoops Freightliner-Western Star/All-In Truck Parts/Stoops Trailers products and services.

• Develops print project creation, including sales flyers/brochures, trade show materials, banners, signage and display materials, cards, and newsletters.

• Provides creative headline and ad copywriting.

• Interaction with internal and external customers in a positive, professional manner.

• Maintains the company’s image and brands in a professional manner.

• Plan and execute meetings for internal and external (customer) specific in-person events (i.e. tradeshows, product showcases, golf outings, sporting clay shoots, grand openings, etc.).

• Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and are an effective expenditure of resources.

• Provides website and intranet updating as well as video and photo editing.

• Maintains a high level of overall organization and is willing to collaborate with business partners.

• Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all projects.

• Maintains a high level of creativity and demonstrates the ability to proactively “think outside of the box”.

• Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to handle pressure and a fast-paced environment.

• Organize and maintain marketing materials and apparel to optimize usage and effectiveness.

• Maintain regular onsite attendance (Indianapolis, IN) as scheduled.

• Other duties as required and assigned.

• Willing to travel 25-30%.

Education, Skills and Knowledge required:

• Four-year college degree in marketing, public relations, business, or other related field.
• Able and willing to learn transportation/trucking/forestry industry products and services.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible working on multiple projects.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, employees, administrators, and the public.
• Knowledge of applications of: Mac software, Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro and proficient with other applications such as iMovie, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of the internet, website design, and e-mail marketing.
