Truck Country is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our Corporate Office team. If you enjoy working with data, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in accuracy, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
- Process weekly payroll for multiple company divisions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations
- Prepare payroll reports, tax deductions, PTO accruals, and benefit deductions
- Assist employees and managers with payroll-related questions
- Process wage garnishments and payroll-related journal entries
- Support payroll process improvements and departmental initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information
What We’re Looking For
- Previous payroll experience or a 2-year Accounting degree
- Knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and computer applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
