Truck Country customer Eric Schneller was one of eight Western Star truck enthusiasts selected to take part in the 2025 Star Nation Experience, hosted by Western Star.
Schneller, the owner of Snow Country Contracting of Bessemer, MI, joined the other winners in Bend, OR, in early June for an exciting adventure. The journey included a visit to the Madras Proving Grounds to take part in the ultimate driver challenge, an up-close look at the X-Series lineup and time spent with Western Star product experts.
The group also had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest, as they took part in a guided fly-fishing trip and an off-road ATV side-by-side ride.
Earning Schneller and Snow Country Contracting’s business was a “conquest” for Truck Country. Snow Country is also a heavy-equipment customer of McCoy Construction & Forestry.
After years of driving a competing brand, a failed business deal opened the door for Truck Country and Western Star. Since making the switch to Western Star, Schneller hasn’t looked back.
“Still riding high(,) thinking back to last weekend in Oregon with the Western Star crew,” Schneller posted on Snow Country’s Facebook page after returning from the trip. “Great people, great memories, and one heck of an experience.”
